What is a product owner?

You work in an agile team responsible for defining and prioritizing what the team is working on (you own the backlog for the team).

In this role you are the bridge between the business and IT, working together with our brands ecommerce teams and other key stakeholders to understand and develop the vision of where we are going, converting this vision into projects and actions, refining these so they can be developed. 

This includes working in and being a gatekeeper for processes, ways of working and in that the organization understands and are working to fully utilize the solutions we have and which we develop.

You will also act as a project manager for big projects when this is needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating and communicating a vision for the solution and for the processes.
• Working closely together with the brands ecommerce teams and other stakeholders to create a backlog and roadmap for the shopping experience and Martech areas.
• Help drive excellence in solution development and ascertain that we meet our commitments
• On a daily basis work in your SCRUM-team on the product- and solution development
• You are responsible for the team backlog and in developing it.
• You should be able to step into the role of project manager when so required.
• Having a clear responsibility in quality control for the solutions developed.

Your background:

You are experienced in ecommerce and have a strong expertise in marketing and love to develop the experience for the visitors on site so that they get inspired and become customers.

By hart you believe in delivering solutions in smallest possible chunks so that the results can be measured based on data.

Experience of project management is of high importance, and you have experience in being a leader of people, formally or informally.

As a person, you are really passionate about ecommerce, and about developing new customer experiences. You love to learn more, know more, and you challenge people around you to do the same. You deliver what you promise.

You probably have:

• A strong ecommerce background focused on creating the best shopping experience.
• Experienced in digital marketing.
• Experience in project management 
• Experienced in agile ways of working, notably SCRUM.
• Fluent in English
